"They took great care of my son flying alone"
My 11-year-old flew by himself with Ethiopian Airlines, and I was nervous about the whole thing. But based on this experience, they seem to really know how to handle kids traveling alone. The staff checked all his documents, stayed with him, and even called me when he arrived. He told me the crew was kind to him during the flight too. I’m really thankful for how carefully they looked after him...

The uploads took some time, and I wasn’t really sure if everything had gone through until later. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just could be more clear and easier to follow. I had to contact Ethiopian Airlines about changing a booking, and the main issue was how long everything took. From my experience, if you need help, email is not the fastest route because it took a few days to get a reply, and calling wasn’t much better since I spent a long time waiting on the line. When I finally got through, the person was polite, which I appreciated, but the issue still wasn’t really resolved, so I had to follow up again. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but when you’re dealing with flight changes, faster support makes a big difference.

I fly with them often, and the ShebaMiles points build up quicker than I expected. I’ve used them for upgrades and even extra bags a couple times, so... yeah, it actually feels worth it. Like, not just one of those programs you forget about

"Made our family trip a lot easier"
I traveled with my wife and kids, and the staff were really nice to us. They helped us get seats together and were helpful with the stroller during boarding too. It just made the whole thing feel less stressful, which is kind of all you hope for when flying with kids. Not everything went perfectly, but overall the family support was definitely good.

I managed to book my flight without too much hassle, but the website was slow and a few pages took way longer to load than they should have. The payment did go through fine in the end, so that part was okay. What annoyed me most was that some of the messages and steps weren’t very clear, so I wasn’t always sure if things were actually working or not. Overall, not a bad experience, but it definitely could be smoother and easier to follow

I flew with Ethiopian Airlines recently and overall had a good experience. For a long trip, my seat was comfortable enough, and I really appreciated that the cabin felt clean and well kept. The crew were friendly and checked in fairly often, which made the flight feel more relaxed. Meal service was a little slow, and the food was just okay, nothing amazing, but it got the job done. Based on my experience, I’d be happy to fly with them again.

I needed to change my flight and, i mostly just focused on the parts I cared about, fees, date limits, and whether my ticket qualified. Those details were clear on the site. I did have to read through a little bit to make sure I wasn’t missing anything, but overall it was straightforward and not too frustrating.

"Payment went through, but it took some patience"
I booked my ticket on Ethiopian Airlines and the payment did go through fine, so no complaints there. I got the confirmation email quickly too, which was a relief. The only annoying part was that the page got slow for a bit, and I had to sit there waiting and checking instead of just getting it done quickly. At least there was no failed payment or double charge, so overall it worked out okay.

I really like Ethiopian Airlines because, they fly to so many places, even some routes that other airlines don’t seem to cover. It just makes planning trips way easier for me. Connections through Addis are usually straightforward too, which is nice. Overall, yeah, it’s a good option if you’re traveling around Africa or even beyond.

"Changing my ticket was such a hassle"
I booked with Ethiopian Airlines and then had to change my travel date. the rules wasn’t very clear to me and the fee came out higher than I thought it would. Customer service did take time to explain, but I still felt kinda stuck with not many options. The flight itself was okay, no big issue there, but changing the ticket was really not easy

In the end, I got exactly the seat I chose, which was all I was hoping for. I picked it on Ethiopian Airlines, and it stayed the same through check-in and boarding. I’ve had other airlines switch seats on me at the last minute, so it was a nice relief. The seat map was straightforward, though it did take a little while to load at first. Nothing major to complain about, just glad it worked the way it was supposed to.

"Got bumped from my flight"
My flight ended up being overbooked and I got denied boarding even though I had checked in on time, which was frustrating haha. The staff were polite about it, but it was still stressful and threw off my plans. They did rebook me for a later flight, but overall it wasn’t a great experience.

The lounge was just okay for me. The seats were comfortable enough, but the food options were limited when I was there. I might’ve just shown up at a bad time, because it felt like they were either between restocks or things had already been picked over.

I flew with Ethiopian Airlines and had a connection in Addis Ababa. Overall, the transit process was easy and straightforward. The staff helped point me in the right direction, and my bags made it through without any issues. The airport was definitely busy and the signs could be a bit clearer, so it felt a little rushed at times, but everything went smoothly in the end.
